Gilmore Girls Stars Hallow

If you lead.. I will follow...

Lately the hype has been around the recent premiere of the new Gilmore Girls on Netflix! I am currently just starting to watch, and I'm excited. I couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to travel to Washington Depot, CT.. the city that inspired Stars Hallow. I went with my mega Gilmore Girls gal pal Rachel, we experienced various show themed events, a real Lukes diner, a knit-a-thon, and panels with cast and crew from the show.

The town was so perfect and quaint, and beautiful in FALL! it rained all weekend, but we were lucky to shoot just in time to capture its glory.

I wanted to kick off the weekend in a fun and flowy Free people dress. I paired it with some over the knee socks and black booties. To prepare for the weather I am wearing the "it's definitely raining" Lululemon jacket, and floral scarf to accent the fall colors. I carried my Hunter umbrella, which so helpful all weekend. To prevent from my hair being a giant mane, I wore it back in a french twist, pinned with a free people claw clip

Despite the cold weather, the warm hearts of the people in the town and the amazing fans of the show made the weekend quite the opposite.

Food Coma.. Post Thanksgiving Comfiness

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you all had an amazing day of eating all sorts of yummy food- turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and desserts! I am so stuffed. Now that i'm full I need to change into comfy clothes.

My outfit is perfect for that post eating food coma.  I'm wearing a pair of high waisted lululemon sweatpants, and a classic black and white striped Urban Outfitter tee. I chose to pull my hair back in a easy side braid, and add a little glam with some midi rings. I'm ready to go out and shop in my Nasty Gal leather jacket, and Just Fab black booties.

I'm thankful for you all following along! xoxox.

Boho Apple Picking

I'm so excited to share this post with you! A few weeks ago my friend Rachel and I went Apple Picking, can you believe this midwest girl had never been?! I had a blast hunting and picking the delicious fruit. Because it was toward the end of picking season, we got this crazy apple picking stick to help us reach high. It was too funny, because the stick was double my size!

I am been dying to shoot this dress. I bought it a while ago at free people. I am glad that velvet is back and here to stay for a while. The gorgeous royal tones of this brocade were just too good to resist. Im obsessed with the pattern detail, while overall being a very easy dress. I paired this flare sleeved beauty with a black choker, and a layered necklace. To keep the look casual and fall, I wore knee high socks, and my riding boots.

I'm so glad the weather has been holding up, I'm loving fall perfection. I hope you all are enjoying your shorter week, and getting exciting to eat eat eat for Thanksgiving.. I know I am!

Sari not Sorry

Happy Friday Loves!

Last month I traveled to St. Louis for my cousin Nimah's wedding. I had a blast! Indian weddings are so much fun; I dressed up, danced a lot, and dressed up some more! Here are some of my favorite photos shot over the weekend.

The outfit I'm featuring in this post is a sari my mom bought me almost a year ago. (just been waiting for the right occasion! ha) We ordered it from c Bazaar.. if you are in the market for traditional indian outfits, they have so many styles and options! I love this sari because the top has gorgeous embroidery all over it, and I loved the color combinations!
